William Winter
Trombone

A Philadelphia native, Bill was introduced to the euphonium in 4th grade and was a member of the All-Philadelphia Junior High and High School Bands. He began playing trombone his senior year in High School.

Bill left music to focus on a career in engineering and after a brief tour in the US Army, his professional pursuits centered on business development in the public and private sectors. He is an alum of Drexel University and the Wharton School in Philadelphia.

After retiring, Bill returned to music in 2012 and later joined the Salem County Brass Society. In addition, he performs with the Congress Street Brass Band, the Cape Shore Jazz Orchestra and is President of the John Walter Cape Community Band where he plays trombone and euphonium.
